PTT follows the govt's announcement to open oil service station around the clock

President of PTT Public Company Limited said the oil company will follow the government’s instruction to allow 24-hour oil service station.

PTT President Prasert Boonsampan (ประเสริฐ บุญสัมพันธ์) revealed that the restriction of oil stations’ service time has not helped reduce fuel consumption. He said that after the government has announced to withdraw the restriction of oil stations’ service time, PTT will consider opening 30-40 percent of its fuel stations around the clock. He said that the action will surge the sale figures of minimart, but the sales figures of oil will not increase.

He affirms that around-the-clock oil service stations will not cause the increase in electricity fees.
