Much-respected monk invited to bless DSI to drive off bad omen

The Nation

BANGKOK: -- The Department of Special Investigation has invited much-respected Phra Phrommangalajarn better known as Chaokhun Thongchai of Bangkok's Wat Traimitr Withayaram to perform a blessing ceremony for the agency on Monday.

The ceremony was held to mark the 14th anniversary of DSI establishment. It also came after the DSI was hit by a scandal in which a detainee died in a suspicious environment.

It's a wonder they didn't invite the senior monk they have a special interest in

Hr wouldn't have had to worry about being arrested, they don't go in for that sort of thing.

Would the monk under investigation just counter the blessing remotely? :passifier:

If the opponent throws a buff, I'd debuff immediately, much like board games.

Hold on, that's asking a lot of just one blessing !

The more money they paid the monk the bigger the blessing. It would be interesting to know how much he charged for throwing water around and saying a few words that on one can understand including himself.

Yes that will work just fine and while your at it, have all the vehicles blessed because then it will be impossible to have an accident! LOS.

Worked well for decades as we witnessed, what should go wrong now all of a sudden ...

don't forget to also bless the CCTV system,

... oh no, he just sprinkled water on it...

Now the plods can conveniently blame the monk for ruination of the CCTV system hence case close?

LOL.  " the DSI was hit by a scandal in which a detainee died in a suspicious environment "

What they mean is: "where a detainee was extra-judicially murdered in their care"!

What kind of legal organisations can sign up for the ridding of "bad omens"?  I guess they got the referral from the Ministry of Ghosts and Spirits?
