VIDEO: Boat of pro-Palestinian activists blocked by Israeli forces from entering Gaza

Featured Replies

The defensive blockade in perfectly legal. If it were not for Palestinian terrorism, it would not be nessasary. Cheers to the Israeli troops that stopped these radicals from broaching it.

An amazing act of bravery once again shown by the Israeli forces who looked death in the eye and survived.

Kind of interesting that Israel, as a state, exists because of illegal boatloads of visitors and Jewish terrorist acts back in the '40s.

I guess they learned from the success of their own misdeeds.

Actually, Israel exists because they won numerous wars that the Arabs started.

You mean they STILL exist.

Had it not been for Jewish terror against the British occupiers and boatloads of illegal visitors, they'd still be guests on Palestinian soil.  There would be no state of Israel, and no wars with Arabs.

That's a little bit simplistic, also the US have been fighting or financing Israels wars for decades now. That aside it is hardly surprising a government turns back a boatload of activists, but that was probably expected and the media attention really what they were after.

They should stop pro Israeli activists entering Israel

Oh no! I'm an anti Semite now ?

I note that some posters want to do a rehash of everything related to Palestine/Israel.   It's off-topic and trolling and will result in suspensions.

Please stay on topic.

Yea, last time the Israelis killed a bunch of unarmed sailors on international waters as they were trying to deliver medicines, food and building materials to Gaza.

Israel is just doing all this illegal activities and no one can blame them because then you are branded as antisemitic and say that we must remember WWII. Well the only thing the Israelis learned from WWII was how to treat other people.

BTW. Israel is basically illegal from the beginning as UK and UN gave the Jews the land that belonged to the Palestinians and not to UK/UN!

The sailors who attacked the Israeli soldiers were not unarmed. Any aid that is destined for Gaza can clear customs at Ashdod in Israel. The rest of your post is off topic trolling.

History actually goes back further than WW11. Even further than WW1. Even further than the Romans - who was it they stole that land from?

You should really do some research and a bit further back than the 1940"s.

Unfortunately it's become very fashionable for some to forget about terrorist groups and their activities. Bomb attacks, rocket attacks, knife attacks, suicide attackers - all apparently fine.

Like those idiot Celtic fans holding up Palestinian flags - clearly remembering the old IRA/PLO "one struggle" murals of the past. Certainly no place in sport.

No wonder Israel is sensitive on defense matters really.

Keeping out terrorist weapons and rockets is about as defensive as it gets.

Due to the Balfour declaration, and bombing the place into existence in '48.

Anyway, this latest ship thing was just a publicity stunt, the interception was predictable, there was no aid being transported  whatsoever, and happily there was no violence in the interception. A good result.

Next ...
