NLA to continue deliberation of impeachment of two former Pheu Thai MPs

BANGKOK, 6 October 2016 (NNT) – The National Legislative Assembly has arranged to hear more from the National Anti-Corruption Commission and two former Pheu Thai lawmakers, who have been accused of abuse of power, before deciding if the case will continue or be dropped.

Spokesmen of the NLA Whip Jate Sirataranon and Yutthana Thapcharoen said that the legislature will convene more sittings on Thursday and Friday to consider the impeachment of former Pheu Thai MPs Narisorn Thongtirat and Udomdej Ratanasathien for the alleged use of electronic cards to cast votes for colleagues and for allegedly switching the draft amendment of the Constitution before presenting it to the then Senate Speaker.

The NACC will be delivering an opening statement and both former MPs will be presenting their arguments, on Thursday.

The NLA has also scheduled its deliberations on other issues, including the setting up of a new committee to work on a list of candidates to join the Judicial Commission and carry out draft amendments to a number of laws on Friday.

Good on ya!! Keep it going!

Wipe out the Pheu Thai Party. The Democrats are sure to win then. The elections will have only right wing parties. Pointless voting. Still at least Thailand has left wing friends. The Chinese.

Hurry make hay while the sun shines. Trot all these Pheu Thai guys out and make an example of them so that any that dare run in the next election will know which side of the bread their butter is on. Political water boarding.

These clowns were caught on CCTV illegally using the voting cards of absent colleagues to cast votes. One even tried to claim it was down to Alzheimer's

So do you think it's ok for PTP MP's to vote illegally and then simply lie when caught?

Same question for you. Is it OK in your view for PTP MP's to vote illegally? And then when exposed on CCTV simply lie and try to shirk it off?
