Monomial
Hi guys, Due to hectic lifestyles and poor planning, we are in a situation where we need to go to Cambodia, and just realized my wife only has 2 months validity on her passport. We will NOT be applying for a visa, and the trip will only last 3 days. I have seen requirements that to get a visa you need 4 months validity. What about if you do not need a visa (visa waiver)? The crossing will occur at the Had Lek/Koh Kong land border. The trip will only last for 3 days, and the stamp will admit her for 14 days. Her passport will be valid for the entire trip. Does anyone have experience in this situation, and are there any actual rules about it? Thanks for any assistance.

Jip99
As per Odin.... 6 months is required. I have experienced one situation where a Thai (in a party of 20+) traveled on an old passport that had less than 6 months. It cost a few Dollars to get her in and some sweet talking. I wouldn't risk it. It only takes 1 week and 1,000 Baht to get a new Thai PP.
