Visa extension almost at it's end.

I have to go to Penang, would it affect my Non Imm visa application chances there, if I did a hop over to Myanmar to delay my need to go to Penang.

Where do you intend to 'hop over" to Burma and how will doing so delay your need for a new visa ?

If you intend doing a borer hop to Myanmar for a visa exempt entry, recognize that this is only possible now in Ranong. Other border crossings with Myanmar do not allow them.

 

A visa exempt entry will have no impact on a later application for a Non Imm O visa.

I get a visa exempt entry, then within the time of that entry stamp, I'll go to Penang. I only need a few days for it to be more convenient for me.

Thanks, I'm in Ranong, so it's not a problem travel wise.
