Nigeria's President Buhari says his wife belongs in the kitchen

The Nigerian president is at the centre of a row after suggesting his wife belongs in the kitchen.

The domestic spat has overshadowed Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Germany, where he and Chancellor Merkel have been trying to tackle migration among other issues.

After Nigeria’s first lady questioned her husband’s political judgement and suggested she might not vote for him in future, the 73-year-old former military ruler delivered a response that has ruffled some feathers.

“I don’t know which party my wife belongs to but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room. It’s not easy to do away with your opposition or people who have not followed you along your campaign trail,” President Buhari told a joint news conference in Berlin, alongside Angela Merkel.

In fact Aisha Buhari did spend time with her husband as he campaigned last year.

He was elected after pledging to crush the extremist group Boko Haram and crack down on corruption.

The German chancellor said the EU would begin negotiations with Nigeria about a deal to repatriate economic migrants who’re denied asylum in Europe.

Oh well!  We now have at least one foreign leader who would still talk to The Donald. if he wins.  And if the people of Nigeria are still wondering why there is not enough pressure on Bokal Haram, they do not have to look much harder than the man they chose for president.

His lover.

This was normal behavior in the US 50 years ago.

Bokal Haram. Didnt he sing 'a lighter shade of pale' years ago?

Islam = (highly flammable) oil. Human rights and modernity = water. Oil and water just don't mix.

Her indoors
A whore in the bedroom, barefoot pregnant and in the kitchen, on call for your every wish - isn't that normal ?

For his sake, I trust employs a hoard of FOOD TASTERS who are "Dying" to get a bite of what the old Guy's wife is going to cook up.

Nigeria,  the modern country with  a good modern thinking leader,  I  agree  that  he better hire  a cook

and let his  wife go  shopping more often, ha, ha. Sad, really.

Geezer

He did also say she belonged to the living room. Is the average attention span of the TV reader now down to a few lines? [emoji39]
Perhaps he should ditch his disloyal wife and elope with the 'wonderful' 'lady' known as Diane Abbott. Please take her to Nigeria.

But he does look like a nice chappy.
