Aussie power plug

Featured Replies

Guys n Gals, I need an Australian power plug either a re-wireable one or a moulded one with a metre or so of 3-core power cord, the load is only around an Amp so the size of the cord is really immaterial.

It has to be the type where the cord exits perpendicular to the outlet, like this:-

If anyone has one they're not using and can let me have I would be eternally grateful, obviously I'll pay a reasonable price :)

I know I can mail order one, but if I can get one locally so much the better.

of branded examples of the re-wireable ones, take care if you happen upon one from the HPM brand...

both the male and the female plugs/sockets, I have encountered they easily fall apart.

I have stuck examples, that instead of a main screw holding it all together, there is instead a plastic pin holding tight by friction only, when you push the back on after wiring it up

Hopefully you may be lucky to receive a Utilux one

How many do you need, what is the other end connection?

you can contact me thru' messages.
