I have to go to Mae Hong Son on October 27 to extend my visa. Will the offices be open or closed, due to the kings death?

I have to go to Mae Hong Son on October 27 to extend my visa.

 

Will the offices be open or closed, due to the kings death?

 

If closed, how soon after are the immigration offices to open back up?

 

And again if closed, and my experation date ends, I wont be charged a late fee I certainly hope.

They are (were) supposed to be open today, so 27th ought not be a problem.  24th they will be closed for Chulalongkorn Day (observed) holiday.

I did my 90 days report today at Chaiyaphum immigration office. Full action there and they all were working.

Unless the government declares special holidays immigration will be open. Just watch for announcements about them. At this time the 24th is the only holiday this month.
