I grew up in an airline family and have been flying multiple times per year since I was 2.

 

Never have I had a flight like this. The AC on Delta between Atlanta and Narita was so cold people were wearing  winter jackets where they had them and wrapping up in multiple blankets. It was insane. It was painful, it was very uncomfortable.

 

When I brought it up with the attendant, people around me agreed whole heartedly and it unleased a string of similar complaints, people were dying and miserable, exposed hands were going numb. 

 

Why would they do this? It beggars belief.

Its a technical fault with aircrafts heating system. Bad luck nothing much they can do until the aircraft is back on the ground. You could complain in writing and may get a bunch of frequent flyer miles?
