October 23, 20169 yr I'm heading back to the UK in a couple of days and wanted some advice on whether it would be better to exchange baht to pounds here - at somewhere like Super Rich - or wait until I get back to the UK. Obviously this isn't my first rodeo so i know that changing it at the airport is a no-no. However with the weaker pound,I'm just considering my options. Thanks
October 23, 20169 yr Not sure how good they are for GBP but when I went to Vasu Exchange to convert baht to USD, I actually got a better rate than the one I saw from Google (i.e. I got more dollars than I expected). Right now Google returns GBPTHB as 42.94 and looks like Vasu will sell you GBP for 43.60 THB. Superrich's website says they will sell for 43.70 THB.
October 23, 20169 yr Also, I'm guessing that there's going to be more of a market for GBP in Thailand than there will be for THB in the UK.
October 23, 20169 yr Change in Thailand. No question. I don't have the numbers for UK, but if you change Baht in Germany (to Euro) you will loose about 8%. 8% is less than I remember years ago though. Edited October 23, 20169 yr by KhunBENQ

The small Superrich Booths at BTS stations offer a much worse rate, usually not better than banks
