KTB issues commemorative bank notes of King Bhumibol Adulyadej

  

BANGKOK, 25 October 2016 (NNT) - Krungthai Bank (KTB) has issued a new set of commemorative banknotes of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. 

Most recently, KTB was able to acquire 200,000 notes from the Bank of Thailand and will make them available to the public starting October 27th. The banknotes were printed in commemoration of His Majesty’s seventh cycle birthday anniversary in 2011, in 100 and 200 baht notes. 

In Bangkok, the banknotes will be available at the branches of Nana Nua, Suan Mali, Pathumwan, Yaowarat, and Thanon Si Ayutthaya. 

The banknotes will also be available in the provinces of Chonburi, Rayong, Nakhon Sawan, Sing Buri, Chai Nat, Phitsanulok, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Sakon Nakhon, Loei, Nong Khai, and Bueng Kan, Songkhla, and Surat Thani.

a pity that KTB does not allot some to the place where I am living.
one of my friends has an almost complete collection of freshly issued banknotes, but over 3 hours travel to the nearest point of sale is a bit far for them.
