antifreeze

Featured Replies

Obviously not something that Tesco sell in Thailand.

What can anyone recommend to use instead of just leaving water in the system.

Iron block and alloy head so just to stop rusty water clogging up head water galleries.

Tesco etc sell a few cooling additives with some rust inhibitor in it but don't know about quality.

I buy Castrol or Valvoline coolant from Lazada just to be safe.

"antifreeze" really drew my attention

Let's call it "coolant".

There is big selection of additives or premixed liquids for the cooler in Thailand.

See some pics:

I can not give you advice as I simply bring my car to regular inspection at my Mazda dealer and didn't care.

This seems to be an additive appearing quite often:

This is obviously a premix from Toyota (other manufacturers also seem to have such stuff).

Thanks, that's the stuff I'm looking for.

Maybe won't treat it as lifetime and change every year or whatever.

Just take the ride to B-quik and get the correct corrosion inhibitor installed. You may have to sit and wait for it to cool down a bit. This stuff is very important..
