partnership visa

Recommended Posts

my girl and and are in a defacto relationship and plan on marrying at some stage. We spend about 5 months a year in Thailand with the balance in New Zealand. I have always used the visa exempt system but looking for a change. Is a defacto relationship considered the same as married? What is involved in getting a partnership visa?

cheers

Thailand only recognizes legal marriages. Common law marriages, civil partnerships and etc are not recognized.

You should be getting tourist visas for your trips. That would allow a 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days.
