Now, I stay in Pattaya and as I have to drive many time up the Hill, it's time to give my Nouvo a little bit extra Power. :o But where should I go for that? Don't want to be ripped of, so any advise from knowledgeable People would be highly welcome.

for less than 5k you could have a full race engine rebuild. 'zorst, new piston and barrel ( bigger, of course!) and hi-flo carb. Where to do that in pattaya though is a mistery as I have never been.

Not sure the transmission system can handle much more power!

Reportedly these transmissions work a charm in relative flat area's, but in hilly area's they need a lot of tending/maintenance...

But anyway, on third road, roughly opposite where route 99 disco burned out, is a small shop doing these modifications. They seem to specialized in the nouovo/mio bikes. Getting more power out these engines is not very hard at all.

Bigger cilinder/piston/carburettor will give the best results at low rpm's, wich is the best for these automatic gear bikes....

Mileage will get pretty poor though, the nouovo's are not exactly very economic to start with!

YOu can buy something like a hyper pro CDI for about 1500 baht should give you a bit more oomf

You can re-map the ignition timing on a Mio as well? Not quite the power of an R1 but such is life. Any idea of the power increase? Have improved the suspension but wouldn't mind a tad more power without playing with the carb, and therefore a noisy exhaust

What I mean is, is it actually worth it?

Thanks for the answers :o Exactly wat I was looking for.

I don't need a lot more power, just the same as the Suzuki 125 ccm Automatic has. I drove that Scooter once and it's as fast with 2 people like my Nouvo with one. So I will go to that Shop and ask them. So just a little bit more ccm will do the Job.
