Three senior DSI officers moved to PM’s Office

 

 

BANGKOK: -- Three senior officers of the Department of Special Investigation have been abruptly transferred to the Prime Minister’s Office for inexplicable reasons.

 

Justice deputy permanent secretary Thawatchai Thaikhieu, in his capacity as the acting permanent secretary, the transfer of the three officers was requested by the PM’s Office and Mr Charnchao Chaiyanukit, the justice permanent secretary, had no objection against the move.

 

The three officers are Pol Lt-Col Somboon Sarasith and Pol Lt-Col Pong-in Intharakhao, both deputy directors-general of the DSI, and Pol Lt-Col Chinchote Putthiworathada, commander of the Office for Development and Support of Special Cases.

The media have been told not to view the transfers as stemming from internal conflict which is probably exactly what they'll do now.
