Not sure why Putin would be trying to get Trump elected when he has made greater advances in the last 8 years of Obama/Clinton/Kerry than I'm sure even he would have dreamed possible. Why wouldn't he want to keep his momentum going?

Live and learn.

Or don't learn.

Donald Trump is a radical dimension of being a menace to national and global security, starting with our historical allies in Europe....

Why Vladimir Putin’s Russia Is Backing Donald Trump

By Kurt Eichenwald On 11/4/16

In phone calls, meetings and cables, America’s European allies have expressed alarm to one another about Donald Trump’s public statements denying Moscow’s role in cyberattacks designed to interfere with the U.S. election. They fear the Republican nominee for president has emboldened the Kremlin in its unprecedented cybercampaign to disrupt elections in multiple countries in hopes of weakening Western alliances, according to intelligence, law enforcement and other government officials in the United States and Europe.

While American intelligence officers have privately briefed Trump about Russia’s attempts to influence the U.S. election, he has publicly dismissed that information as unreliable, instead saying this hacking of incredible sophistication and technical complexity could have been done by some 400-pound “guy sitting on their bed” or even a child.

http://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-vladimir-putin-russia-hillary-clinton-united-states-europe-516895

As of 2016, the Republican Party has gone off the deep end. It joins Donald Trump the radical wildman ignoramus who's been there for a long time already. Putin is their guy, Obama is not their guy. They can't have Putin so they're happy to have the next best thing in the White House, Donald Trump.

Man, if thats want you want to do, than let me give you advice.

Either use a picture of a orang outang, face only, or a baboon. But if you are using the baboon as a avatar, make sure it is his behind!

And don't worry, nobody will know the difference.

Have a nice day day Boon Mee, enjoy it because for the trumpeteers the days are counted!

He's probably learned from bitter experience that relations with the US will be stuck in the trash where they have been for the last 8 years and there is no hope for any re-set with Crooked. With Trump at least there is a glimmer of practical discussion that respects negotiation along the lines of national interests.

You mean he'll be able to run rings around him and very possibly blackmail him.

Time will tell everything so the post says nothing.

Wikileaks and Putin had already run their course and came up dry.

We won't have to wait for eternity however to see if Putin attacks the election Tuesday. Our guys in Washington say we're ready nonetheless.

Can't take Ohio and Utah out of the Clinton column when they weren't ever in the Clinton column.

Ohio has consistently and unrelentingly been trending to Trump. Time to face reality and place it in the Trump column where it's been throughout. HRC never had it so how can she lose it now.

In Ohio the 1st term Republican U.S. Senator Bob Portman, is locked in for reelection in a seat Democrats had hoped to contest. While Gov. John Kasich said he voted for McCain rather than Trump, Kasich controls the Ohio Republican party and Kasich has been quietly delivering the state to Trump and to keep the Republican majority in the Senate.

In deeply Red Utah it's always been between Trump and the McMullin guy who's now running behind HRC who herself has been running way behind each of 'em, while the other two have traded places as leading. The linked article citing these two states as suddenly and now putting HRC below the 270 Electoral College Votes needed to win is in a fog -- a fog of its own making.

Meanwhile, Red North Carolina is trending to HRC. Red Arizona is a draw between 'em. Red Georgia will be too close for Republican comfort even if the R's do pull GA out this one last time as we head to 2020 which is politically just down the road beyond yonder trees.

Enough time wasted writing a reply to another post from the moon.

Suffice to say, HRC remains at the PollyVote projected 52.6% of the two-party vote, which is all we actually need to know. In every Potus election since 1900 the winner of the two-party vote divide has been elected Potus.

The projection is down one-tenth of a point since yesterday's calculation of 52.7% of the two party vote. The PollyVote projection and calculation is a day to day one and Trump has already run out of dayze.

Since it is a tight race, one of our members was nice enough to put a poll up.   It can be found here:

Feel free to vote in the poll.  It has separate categories for US citizens and a category for non-citizens.

Yes, and while I know some on both sides are over confident of a victory, what scientific polling that we do have shows either could definitely win.

Time is running out for new polls that will mean anything before the actual voting (and the actual EXIT polling).

But consider this and some might be shocked. I'm a little shocked myself. 64 percent change of winning isn't all that much better than a coin flip 50 - 50.

As Kasich used to say in his cornball way: FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS!

Thus, while Clinton’s a 76 percent favorite to win the popular vote according to our polls-only forecast, her odds are more tenuous — 64 percent — to win the Electoral College. (Her chances in the polls-plus forecast are identical.) It would not necessarily require a major polling error for Trump to be elected, though he would have to do so with an extremely narrow majority in the Electoral College.
