I will be applying for my No O visa based on marriage on 17 Nov 2016 from Penang. I currently work here and my employment pass (EP) will be cancelled at the end of November.

 

As I do not know my final date to depart the country due to tax clearance and EP cancellation can I just put an educated guess date on the Visa application form or do I have to show my actual flight ticket?

You do not need a flight ticket.  I can't recall what date I used, just some random date about 3 months later I think.

No need to show a ticket out of Malaysia.

You can put any date you want on the application for the departure date as long it is within 3 months.
