Some people seem to think they own the Public Highway outside their house, others seem to think it is their right to run businesses on the Public Highway (including taxis, noodle stalls, etc). it is exactly that- the Public Highway and no one has more rights than others over it.

Not condoning his actions in any way but this has the whiff off a long running dispute with no Jai Yen Yen involved.

Did you actually read and comprehend the article - " She said she had been selling there for five years and had never had a problem with her neighbor who has a property behind her stall, reports Thairath."    It's not all that difficult you know.

I don't speak Thai myself but the scene was translated to me.

It's clearly that the woman ignore her neighbor, her customers had parked their bikes on his property so the parked van that we see in the end of the video could not leave the area. The man asked several times to get her customers over to remove the bikes and he is angry because this had happened several times in the past.  In the end he had to ask them to move their bikes himself.

The woman is ignoring him completely , the Thai way,  So she got the response back , the Thai way with a kick in the head. Yes he is a coward , but you can try to understand why he did it.

To avoid this confrontation all she had to do was to ask her customers to remove the bikes.
