German who cut up wife then holidayed in Thailand guilty of murder

 

Augsburg, Germany - A German man who killed his sleeping wife, cut the body up and hid it, and then went on a weeklong sex adventure holiday in Thailand was found guilty of murder in Germany on Thursday.

 

The 53-year-old man, whose name was not released by the court, will face life in jail. Because of the serious nature of the crime, he will not be eligible for parole after 15 years. Authorities said he will likely spend 20 years in jail.

 

The man, who comes from the southern German town of Friedberg, confessed to the crime at the start of the trial.

I don't see the fact that he chose to come here for a holiday has much relevance to the crime.

He then used his wife's money to fly to Thailand.

 

    Once he cut up the body, he preserved the parts in salt, packed them in boxes and took them to a rented storage unit in nearby Augsburg.

 

   Mentally sick? Was he planning to eat her? 

 

           That's a real strange behavior. Don't they have pigs in Augsburg? RIP, poor victim.

  German prisons are like Russian hotels. He might come back educated and marry again, but then using acid, or similar. Sorry, wasn't a good one. I apologize.

He smashed his wife's head with a hammer and then suffocated her before dismembering her body.  My God, there are some really evil people on this planet, who then expect all human rights to be applied to them when caught.  Just like the Norwegian guy who killed about 70 people and then complained about his cell conditions, a complaint that was upheld.

Germany has one of the highest number of Thai wives in the world. I read online where one of his neighbor came to Pattaya and one year later came back with a 24 years girl. This guy loved to watch her from his window.

So I believe.

This is a disgrace. He will be around 73 years old when he is released and may have another 10 or 20 years of freedom. His wife, on the other hand, has been deprived of 40-50 years of life.

 

I am ambivalent about the death penalty but, surely, he should spend his remaining life in prison.

Nothing to do with Thailand or thai authorities, it all happened in Germany.   The only thai connection is that he screwed a thai.
