snoop1130
Ghostly girl fined for sitting on top of moving taxi By Coconuts Bangkok The woman who was filmed sitting on a moving taxi as calmly as a ghost has been identified by police, and she turns out to be just another human with troubles. Deputy commander of Huamark Police Lt. Col. Nopporn Srisuchart said today that the woman stopped by for questioning after her ghostly stunt terrified and distracted the motorists on Rama IX road on Sunday. Without mentioning her name, Nopporn said that the woman was fined THB500 for the way she rode the vehicle, and the reason that she was sitting on top of a moving taxi is because she had a "quarrel within her family." johnny Cage
One of my Thai students a while back told me "I ever see ghost before". When I asked her for the details she said it was a girl on top of a taxi.

ratcatcher
There is something distinctly odd about this whole story. If you look at the attached video, and there are several around, it is clear that this is not a genuine Bangkok taxi. It has a white license plate (all taxis have yellow plates , ( see 1:12 on the vid clip). It has no number or name on the side and no Taxi Meter sign on the roof. If you disagree with my observations, please comment otherwise. Thanks. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2203037/footage-ghost-girl-sitting-car-bangkok-thailand/ Edited November 18, 2016 by ratcatcher

lee b
Maybe she thought it was a motorbike taxi. You never know, if she is mad enough to do that who knows whats going on inside that dense head.
Wilsonandson
To quote the coconuts article:- The video, which was taken by MCOT photojournalist Powarit Katkul, shows the eerie woman sitting calmly on the trunk of a pink taxi in the middle of the night. As if it wasn't creepy enough, when the cameraman got closer to the taxi, the woman looked into the camera and pointed her finger in the direction of the people inside the taxi. No, the woman sat on the back of the taxi was angry that some nosey journalist on her way back from work was pointing a mobile phone at her and filming. She then pointed or gestured that the nosey journalist should move on. As for the ghost story and the sun newspaper. It sells newspapers.

Emster23
She should have said "Because I angry with quarrel with my family, ghost come and steal my looks, then ride on taxi". Considering how many believe in ghosts, this might have been accepted.

It's like the difference between those who express an opinion in a local paper and the mad vicar of dumbassville, county idiot who bombards the paper with lunatic views on the world.
