Can anybody please give me an update on the time remaining on the work permit to get a Non B multiple entry from Khota Bharu.

I have been hearing many different times, from 6 months and other people saying you must have 9 months left. 

Any actual experiences are greatly appreciated.

 

Penang is definitely WP valid > 8 months, haven't been to Khota Bharu for more than 10 years now for non B visas (personally can't stand the place).

Go to Penang, much easier and nicer.

Kota Bharu is a cool consulate and you need 8 months.

Thank you for your input, can you please tell me the last time you went. 

I understand all the comments about Khota Bharu, however I prefer to go their over Penang as I drive and it is easy to park my vehicle in Sungai.

About 2 weeks ago some co-workers went there, all still the same. Just have all paperwork correct and complete and it's done next day in the morning.
