What they don't say which is so vitally important is if the 10 year visa would only be an OPTIONAL CHOICE for wealthier people OR do they mean that everyone on the current financial qualification levels for O-A visas and retirement extensions will need to qualify for this NEW visa, or go home Charley!  

 

They don't say. 

Anyway, of the current people on retirement status in Thailand, what percentage do you think could (or would be willing with bank account of 3 million) qualify for the 10 year thingie?

 

I don't know but my impression is the majority couldn't qualify.

Not enough info yet. Says visa which would probably be 5 year visa similar to the Thai Elite visas.
