Early Entry On 90 Day Visa

Featured Replies

My flight has been moved forward so I will enter Thailand 1 day before my 90 day visa starts. Will this cause problems and if so, what do you advise me to do?

Thanks

That’s a very unusual question. All tourist visas and non-O visas in my passports were valid from the date they were issued. Are you sure the issue date of your visa is later than today’s date?

I stated on the visa application form that I would be in Thailand from the 12th Dec. They have the form now in Hull U.K. but only an answering machine on for enquiries when I phone.

Then they changed the flight :o

As long as Hull gets your passport back to you before your flight you will be fine. The start date of the visa will be the day they stamp it into your passport.

Thanks for that. Puts my mind at ease :o

24 hour turn around on visas - according to the site - and also on next day delivery so I should get it back. If not I can drive down.

And yes, you were right. They stamped the passport from 4th Dec so I can enter on the earlier flight :o
