The Justice Minister said on Thursday day he had assigned Department of Special Investigation Director-General and the Deputy Chief of the Royal Thai Police to exercise their discretion when they will arrest Dhammachayo.

 

The game is called  "pass the hand grenade".

It was said a couple of days ago that the abbot should be arrested if he's guilty so maybe the two nominated officers will now deliberate on that and if they exonerate him it all goes away.

Criminal Investigation Thai style.

It's just the police earning the respect they claim to deserve. The really sad thing is that they truly do not seem to realise how stupid they look. They expect to be taken seriously while people are choking with laughter behind their back. Quite incredible.

It's time to either put an end to this farce and arrest the monk OR shut up about it! Day after day they come out with new statements and just make themselves look incompetent. 

This farce defies belief!   Perhaps it is the rehearsal for a pantomine and they haven't told us?  Perhaps when he finally comes out of the temple, he will have abandoned his saffron robes and will be wearing a Santa Clause outfit instead?

I think it's the cleaning lady's duty to hand him over.... Actually, it's everybody else's duty in this country to do the DSI's job

Dear Lord! Or is that Dear Buddha? I've just read in another article that someone very high up has said: "We will get him within three months". Of course you will, boy. Of course you will.

This is a possible explanation to why he seems to be able to avoid prosecution according to the law for  such a lengthy lingering challenge to the authorities??
