Criticism Prompts Govt Rethink Of Workout Wednesday

You can almost see the demise of the General reactive knee jerk non-consultative order slowly fading away and forgotten in next short weeks. In just a week, criticisms and attendance and time adjustment. Next we will see the heads of the departments do the disappearing act citing all kinds of excuses. Then the staffs will dwindle and new directives to do their exercise after work. Soon this order will be resinded and history.

"...Each agency must also leave at least 'one or two' officials on duty in case the public needs services, the new order mandated..."

These are the lucky ones !!!

Regardless, it hard to see how a skeleton crew is going to satisfy the public needs.

If 1 or 2 can satisfy the need for public service - what are the rest of them for?

No let him go he is not wrecking anything else in that 30 minutes. Takes another hour grooming and a cool beverage some choice words.

Rounded off 2 hours of Thailand piece.

Just another jerking knee initiative that needs fixing. Do they ever get anything right first up?

They might when they stop being completely whimsical and actually do things with consideration and with an emphasis on improvement and efficiency.  We all know the only things considered genuinely important in Thailand are authority, social standing, and face etc. This results in dysfunctionality and general mayhem most of the time.
