Seeing the trend of the past few Posts - is the fitting of a TowBar still being considered?

 

I have my towbar (never used for trailers) , and solely for bicycle carrying.

Mine uses 6cm diameter steel cadmium plated, and as solid as a Bull's gate

 

These monster racks can carry multiple roadbikes/MTBs, and a little while back, I even mounted my 47kg recumbent

 

All you need for legality, is to properly mounted the Rego plates onto the rack (for clear visiblity by the Cops),

and provide whatever lighting (plate illumination) as reguired by the Transport Dept

 

The entire assembly is mounted and secured by the TowBall bolt

 

Not only that, but you can still tow a trailer while the bikerack is mounted.

 

It wouldn't be $prohibitive to copy someone's design... and get it made locally (welded)

Mine's a simple robust pattern, and can arrange setting it up on the wagon, and take a photo and Posting that here, if wanted?

Yes, tifino.   'posting a  photo of rear device' would be very welcome.  I'll check my bumpers, underframe  at the rear, look at your photo and consider that idea.  Thanks.

If just a bicycle - one of these will do. Any fab shop can copy. Easy on, easy off.
