Non O - Marriage. Anything change in last year?

Featured Replies

Has anything changed in regard to making the non O "marriage" extension in the last year?

I can submit my paperwork 30 days prior, correct?

I can't do my 90 day report prior as it's not within two weeks before the expiry date.

Bit of a waste of time perhaps but end Dec, Jan always busy.

Trouble abt waiting is we will be traveling Dec to early Jan. Work crazy busy early mid Jan.

Thank you.

No changes that I am aware of. Unless you local office has changed their requirements it should the same as last year.

You can do it up to 30 days early or 45 at some offices.

I'm in BKK.

Thank you.

You can apply 45 days early at Chaeng Wattana immigration.

If you have a marriage certificate but have been previously married, is it necessary to also provide divorce documents or does said marriage certificate override this necessity?

You only need your marriage certificate. Immigration does not ask for a divorce certificate.

Thanks UbonJoe

Does that apply for first time applicants as well as those renewing?

You are applying for an extension the first time as well as all others after that.
