Purchased a Tower Brand Christmas pudding from Rimping Meechock Plaza B400, also 2 Ready made Turkey dinners.

Priced at B380 but must have been on offer for some time with a reduction to B300.

I showed these to Rob at Sausage King and he is attemping to purchase the trays so he could offer 'TV" type meals year round, ideal for single chaps like me.

As folks who use SK for Sunday lunch their Chicken is moist/juicy, his sliced beef is excellent and he occasionally offers lamb and ham .

Dont know about all this Charles Dickens Xmas food, ... i just wish somebody would make some good tamales for a more traditional feed.

Now you're talking...real hogs head tamales. I was raised on those. I remember all of my hispanic families would get together for an all day tamale and menudo make (for later....not the day after though...too late). Oh what Christmas' those were! pg

many thanks Sally. Anyone know where I can get rosemary?

Today they have Cranberry sauce in Kasem Store (haven't been to Rimping yet). She said they just got a new batch in as last batch sold out quickly.

It is tinned Ocean Spray brand and one seemed to be "jelly" and one sauce. I think she said 130 Bt

They will also have rosemary too I would think.

Not a parsnip in sight.

Just stopped in at Rimping and they have a couple of jars/bottles of Cranberry Sauce left on the "imported food" shelf. Just above the Colmans mustard.

(Rimping Nawarat)

I think they only had 3 left. Can't remember the brand but probably better than tinned.

Sorry no time to check for parsnips. They did have quite a few Xmas puds left too.

Kasem's mince pies are very moreish.  Early mornings only, I think they sell out. Very tightly stuffed.  So far this year I haven't bothered making any, I might just buy them.  Didn't think of looking for Christmas pud - it's one of my top 10 indulgences.

Cranberry Sauce aplenty in Rimping Nim today: Ocean Spray and S&P.

Christmas Cake and Christmas Pud bought from Marks and Spencers a couple of weeks ago

Wilkin and sons Christmas Puds available in Rimping Nim

Someone should import some Christmas Crackers - never seen them here they'd make  killing

Haven't seen Sausage Bob's (Tower Bridge) mince pies anywhere yet. An thoughts?

I'm not bothering with Turkey this year. Cold meats and Salmon for us as the boys like that better.
