Hi, my 30 day "under consideration" period for a 1 year extension based on Marriage application is due today, I called the immigration office this morning and they said it's not ready yet, should I wait until tomorrow or should I return to immigration office today for an updated stamp?

The under consideration stamp allows you to stay in the country until your application is approved.

The report back date is just that not the date the under consideration period ends.

Relief,,, thanks so much joe,, was kinda confused as had a house visit 2 weeks back from the immigration boss, who said during the house visit that immigration was closed yesterday AND today so just thought I'd call immigration today just to be sure, and yes unsurprisingly they are open, anyway thanks a bunch
