After Living in BKK for a couple of years it's easy to overlook the little things that makes living here 'sanuk',

Walking to food lion last night (only shop there on emergencies :D ) & watching those caring old folks at the pharmacy lovingly restock the cigarette counter and painstakingly filling up the empty kratindaeng bottles with lao-kao for the thirsty motorcycle taxi guys on the soi (think they even sell medicine too!)

Purchasing my shopping and feeling genuinely sorry for the poor girl at the checkout who has to endure a 12 hour shift next to the newly installed karaoke booth filled with about 10 little brats attempting to sing the latest love ballads at the top of their voices, "Puert Hoa Mak" she meekly replies. Upon leaving I see the old man at the fortune teller counter(think thats what he is) besides the door where a bunch of teenagers converge to down endless Leo's on a large table that seems to be provided only for the purpose as a drinking base. Excellent stuff! :o Definately a different shopping experience from popping round to Tesco's in the UK for a pack of chicken Kiev and pint of milk, but also so easy to overlook these things after you have been here a while.

Anyone noticed stuff like this lately, wanna share?
