SARABURI: -- If you prefer the DIY vibe of the local indie scene over the flashy production of loud EDM festivals, check out Keep on the Grass, a folk and indie music festival scheduled to happen in January in Saraburi.

 

Keep on the Grass features local indie artists like reggae heavyweights Sriracha Rockers, The Front Row, Yena, Desktop Error, Matthew Fisher, Flower Dog and other bands that will play the unplugged versions of their songs.

 

For foreigners, perhaps the most familiar name in the line up is Rasmee, the Isaan-born singer who has been taking the world of soul and jazz by storm. Her Morlam singing style fuses jazz, R&B and funk, creating a new style she has called Isaan Soul.
