Inquiry about being blacklisted in Thailand

I did get a reply from www.thailandblacklistcheck.com:

Thank you for the email. Yes, it is definitely possible that you were blacklisted as a result of a police investigation into you. Usually this is how blacklists begin - from police warrants.

I do not want to scare you, but it will be a big problem if you are blacklisted and you try to enter Thailand. They will arrest you and you will be forced to pay bail. Being arrested at the airport or rejected from entering Thailand is a very expensive and inconvenient thing to happen.

For us to know for sure, we will have to check the following:

1. Central immigration at Suan Phlu.

2. Local immigration offices at international airports.

3. Local immigration offices at land border crossings.

4. Court records.

5. Police records.

If you are interested in a proposal for these services, please reply to this email, and we will send you one.

"I do not want to scare you..."

Actually, that's PRECISELY what they're trying to do.

I'd wager most people who're actually blacklisted are well aware of the fact.   (...and that most of those who aren't but are just afraid they are have been the victims of intimidation tactics or schemes by certain locals hoping for payoffs of one sort or another from gullible foreigners anxious to avoid threatened troubles.)

  • its a sales pitch, tell them to bugger off.

  • Doubt if you are blacklisted. Maybe being a self admitted vindictive --------------- should be enough grounds.

  • Precisely.  If anyone has committed a crime in Thailand, it's the Indian guy who misrepresented himself to the Thai lady as being single and conned her into a Buddhist marriage ceremony.    His story

You committed no crime in Thailand to no reason for them to blacklist you.  Also for them to blacklist you they would need to know your complete name, birthdate and passport number.
