I have been asked to book an appointment (Consular Services)for someone who unfortunately, due to illness, needs his wife to accompany him. They wanted an afternoon appointment same as last year as getting him there is not easy.

 

Looking at the site it seems they no longer offer afternoon appointments.

 

Also how do I 'arrange' for his wife to accompany him to the interview? It doesn't seem obvious to me ... do I just book a second appointment same day/time ..............thanks

She can accompany him without an appointment. Be sure she has some ID when she goes with him.

The changed the appointment hours early this year. The only afternoon appointments are for birth registration now.

It might be possible to get him a later appointment by sending  them a email explaining the situation.
