Thailand Yacht Show sets sail today at Ao Por Grand Marina

PHUKET: -- The second edition of the Thailand Yacht Show (TYS) officially opens today at Phuket’s Ao Po Grand Marina, showcasing superyachts, marine toys, sailing accessories and exclusive lifestyles.

The four-day event (December 15-18), aimed at promoting Phuket as a world-class yachting and marine leisure hub, officially launches at 3pm with an opening show and tours of some of the superyachts berthed at the marina, followed by a grand opening ceremony and a "Rock D' Deck TYS Welcome Party" from 8pm.

Daily morning cruises on the HYPE Catermaran can be booked in advance by contacting the organizers.

Friday’s attractions include tours of superyachts Lauren L, Ocean Emerald and Northern Sun from 3pm, which can also be arranged through representatives at the show.

There are people , so incredibly rich , that the interest rates they get in one day is more than a worker get's in a lifetime full of hard work .. if that is fair ? I do not think so ...

Sure us as expats, fully loaded  in our prime as the pictures suggest can indulge in this. NO legally minted person would live in Thailand &n buy these toys 

OK legally is broad word, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

This yacht can be rented for €180.000 per week plus expenses. It comes with a support boat to do diving etc.
