I just wanted to share my experience on changing my address on my driving licence.

We went to the driving test centre in Prachinburi but they said it had to be changed where the licence was issued (Bangkok).

As I've retired they accepted my Tabien (Yellow book) rather than my work permit, along with my wifes blue book, and my passport.

The process took 10 minutes in Bangkok and cost 130THB

Another office that accepts the yellow house book.

My car license had a wrong address from the start (noticed too late).

I didn't care as I have yellow book and pink card with the correct address.

Should be good enough?

Yes, pink card is good, but I can't get at my local Amphoe office (it's another story) and one of the reasons I changed my address on the license.

BTW: Since I've retired I've used my yellow book in place of the work permit, like for bank account, but always with my wife's blue book.
