watcharacters
Did I stump Baba Looey? When i first bought an Apple laptop a G4 Powerbook which remains my favorite as far as the keyboard is concerned, the Apple associate told me I'd most likely want to upgrade to a new lap every 3 years. Was that a prophetic comment? It seems to me I've read of people having older Macs as well as PC's and motoring on with them year after year. Is there any way to upgrade to a newer OS on this Air? RichCor
First, you should post *what* you're trying to update to 10.6.8. If it's the PowerBook G4, mentioned in your second post, then a google search found this: whats the latest opperating systems will work on a powerbook g4 discussions.apple.com maximum software update on a powerbook g4 discussions.apple.com Wikipedia's entry for the PowerBook G4 states the Maximum Operating System is Mac OS X 10.5.8 “Leopard”
