BANGKOK: -- TWO FORMER police informants have been arrested for allegedly posing as Special Branch officers and abducting a woman from her Bangkok apartment before trying to extort Bt100,000 from her on a trumped-up drugs charge.

According to police, Chatchawal Sriruang, 37, and Sakda Jitdamri, 38, along with another male accomplice still at large, raided the victim’s room on Saturday night, claiming to be police officers.

Quality picture.

Great pointing and weird handcuffing.

To be fair the handcuffing will make running away extremely difficult.

Police informants are rarely upstanding, law-abiding citizens. And that gives them access to criminal activities not known to police. So not surprising these two are involved in a criminal event. At least they showed some innovation promoted by Gen. Prayut in their approach. Indeed, money see, monkey do.

What a genius you are! Managing to turn a report about criminals and former police informants into a dig at the PM.

Don't recall your revered Shin clan ever doing anything to improve the police during their many years of power.
