Can this be bought in Thailand?

I bought 75mg junior aspirin from UK for BP medication

Trying to buy some more today i can only get 81mg is this  the same ?

Spoke to my sister a nurse (albeit in an eye hospital )in Uk she says it's not but maybe ok ( from the FB message she didn't seem overly convinced

I would have thought drug medication is similar throughout the  world or in Thailand is junior aspirin stronger than UK

I take 81 mg (baby aspirin) as a blood thinner (I'm from the US) ....get the same here (81 mg) as you said ...

Maybe in the UK they just have to change things an little bit ....to be different.

Oh ....and by the way ....normal aspirin is 325 mg.....so 7 mg difference is nothing

As said 81mg is the standard size and is based on 1/4 of the normal US 325mg aspirin tablet.  But it is best not to call it baby aspirin (they go into panic mode if they believe you may actually be giving to children) - and normally it will be the coated type for blood thinning sold here.

Aspirine is hard to get in Thailand. In my provincial town , I went to 9 pharmacies , one of which was from a hospital , no-one sells the Bayer 500 mg.( Well one did but they stopped) . The 81mg (1B/pil) , which taste like vit C tablets is easier to find . Only 1 sells 300mg red coated aspirines ( also 1B/pil).

Mailed the folks home ... 6,48 euro for 20 tablets of 500 mg ??

Sure there are risks for stomach and kidneys , but only if you take too many , and so does paracetamol , which doesn't work for me.

I take the 81mg when I eat too many eggs and because they taste like lemon. 555.

Actually one is too many for some people as it is a very effective blood thinner and that can cause bleeding issues (and will too easily assumed to be the cause if known to take) and is part of the reason for a very bad reputation here in Thailand.
