QROPS Pension New Zealand

Featured Replies

Just curious to know if anyone did a "QROPS" with their UK pension to New Zealand (endeavour /TAM) ?

If you have checked the performance of these funds you may get a shock ! Partly due to the fact that most of the funds are made up of  UK funds / BREXIT issue.

I do wonder if removing a pension from the UK to "foreign fields" makes sense anymore consider new pension rules in UK ?

Asia Pacific Pensions still push these QROPS in a big way. When you consider the financial adviser fee

and then for example in New Zealand with Endeavour they do not have a wide range of funds so something like BREXIT comes ,(they cant diverse)

then look towards max 3 per cent growth if you lucky !!!

Seems QROPS is not what its cracked up to be ?

QROPS is advantageous for the financially aware

I paid min costs when I set it up, I self manage, I have averaged just under 15% return per annum over the last five years, I pay nominal annual trustee and admin costs, I pay no management fees

On the other hand you can be ripped off when you transfer in , pay stupid annual admin costs, pay high management costs even when they loose your money

Basically not for the financially naive individual
