I am arriving in Thailand in one month with a 'retirement visa' from the Thai Embassy in New Zealand. I will live in Issan.

I would like to know what I need to do in my first years (forms, reporting, renewing etc.)

Thanks heaps.

If you have a OA visa from the embassy you just need to do reports of staying longer than 90 consecutive days at the designated immigration office for where you will be living. You can do the reports online or by mail or in person.

They may want a your landlord to report of your presence by doing a TM30 form.

You will get a one year entry from your visa for every entry you do up to the enter before date on your visa. After that date you will need are-entry permit to to keep you last entry valid if you want to travel.
