Angry 400lb lion attacks British tourist who patted him on the bum while posing for pictures in Thailand

Featured Replies

Any person who gets bit, attacked or even killed whilst visiting a zoo or place where animals are held in captivity like this deserve everything they get.

Why are these places still in existence?

What "zoo" is this that tethers big cats on a 2 foot chain so that tourists can touch them? The owners need to be named and shamed.....  boycott these places !!!

Defamation laws are harsh in Thailand even if it's right or wrong.

Tie this quality British tourist on the same chain, and have the lion 'touch' him... THAT would teach him the right lesson! Disgusting tourist :bah:

Maybe he mistook it for a sheep....

He touched the lion's rear end, the lion stood up and turned around....boring!!

Yeah. It would have been much less boring had the lion not been tied to a short leash.

Once was enough for a zoo visit in Asia. They are all so appalling and too sad to look at the poor animals cooped up in these cesspits. Never go to a zoo anywhere in Asia again except the Kings Gardens down at Sattahip. Not too bad for a day out there

So you have been to every zoo in every Asian country have you?

If the bloody animals weren't there in the first place then no one could pull their tails, or tickle their balls.

So it's the animals' fault is it? No need to call them bloody.

how do you know the lion was actually angry....do tell us...did you ask the lion??

Ha ha ha ha.....funny and pathetic news reporting!

I would say let Darwin law take care of this man. Natural selection.

Cats can be cute... But when annoyed they can turn aggressive, also they can be very unpredictable, even psycho...

He was lucky and will be able to tell his grandchildren the story in years to come... Darwinism did not work this time.

The video is not available anymore ! YouTube account terminated ! i wonder why ...bad advertisement ??

It's still up on the Mirror (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/angry-400lb-lion-attacks-british-9625668) and Daily Post (http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/flintshire-boxer-close-shave-lion-12453058) sites.

The lion just turned around to see who the heck was annoying him.

Let the lion off the chain next time and see the idiot really kak daks if he was really going to attack him.

And support dual pricing too...

Same for elephant shows. I'm kind of okay on riding elephants, but I find elephant shows utterly degrading for these magnificent animals.

Touch me on the bum, he would probably get the same reaction.

Misleading title. The lion didn't "attack him".

These false titles seem to be increasing on this site.

It's going to do just the opposite.

I took my kid to one in Thailand last year and i am glad she was too young to understand that bears should not be in tiny cages, lions should not be drugged up and chained to the floor. It really was amazing to me that in this day and age Thai zoos are allowed to abuse magnificent creatures in such a way.

Not three lions on his shirt...not even a shirt...and messy pants...:post-4641-1156694572:

Oh sorry Mr. F'in Perfect. I won't waste time commenting on your reply as you obviously can't read English. Let me guess. You are German

Im not sure it was an innocent bum pat….maybe he gave the lions testicles a little finger flick?

I'm surprised the lion didn't bring a suit for sexual harassment

There are NO real journalists these days, we never get any NEWS all we get is opinions and views of editors and the lackies they use to go and gather the garbage!

You don't read the  right publications then.
