Thailand City Navigator and Base camp

Hello

I have seen that BaseCamp  transfers tracks to a GPS with  Open Street maps  inside  , but my old Garmin gps ( nuvi 200 ) can't do the transfer ( too old )

so I think to buy a new GPS Garmin ( 57 LM ) , with Garmin maps inside ; do Garmin maps work with Basecamp and, if yes,  do I have to paste the gmasupp file to my computer ?
