sonic_11uk
I'm flying back to the UK early tomorrow morning and plan to buy some Xmas presents along the way from the duty free. I've read from some posts that shopping at Suvarnaphumi airport King Power duty free is more expensive if not the same department store prices. Has anyone experience of this? Don Muang duty free prices were ok I thought. Would it be better to shop at Doha where I've a 1hr stop? Advice would be much appreciated. Cheers!!! kmart
It not "duty free" at all, unfortunately. The ridiculously high prices seem to merely reflect the brib.... sorry, "commission" that King Power seemingly paid to win this concession. They must think that all visitors to this country are mugs at best. Its typically all style over substance, and I'd rather shop anywhere than the new airport. britmaveric
Duty free is a joke - cheaper buying things on the outside I'm afraid.
