Jatuporn, who is president of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), said that his group wanted the country to move forward instead of remaining mired in a “circle of conflicts”. He said he was ready to sign an agreement with the other conflicting parties to end their rift, as had been suggested by the government figures responsible for the latest reconciliation effort. Perhaps he's hoping that the reconciliation process will make opportunities for mouthing off again, and/or gain approval for the paymasters son to get the TV channel back in full twist. While we seem to have drifted onto a Hitler-theme, as history has so dramatically shown, it requires more than just the mere signing of an agreement to ensure a peaceful outcome... Well, he might suggest that the leaders of the UDD, including himself as President, actually stand for election rather than be mysteriously and secretly appointed. Nah, he might not win.
