WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Justice has decided that President Donald Trump can hire his son-in-law Jared Kushner as a senior White House adviser without breaking federal anti-nepotism laws, The New York Times reported on Saturday.

The department has found that the president has special hiring authority that exempts White House positions from federal laws barring the president from appointing relatives to lead a federal agency, the newspaper reported, citing an opinion from the department's Office of Legal Counsel dated Jan. 20.

Good stuff. Kushner is smart as hell, an excellent businessman and has great taste in women!

And for once, the right man in the white house for Israel who has the ear

of the president....

Why do you believe an Orthodox Jewish supporter of the Chabad movement is good choice for building policy for peace for Israel?

"Some people say" Trump and Kushner have the SAME taste in women. (Hey, whadoo I know, I just read it on the internets). Hence the appointment. As the saying goes: keep your friends close, and keep your love rivals closer.

A number of Trump's cabinet and advisory appointments would normally fail confirmation hearings due to unpaid taxes, undeclared assets, questionable associations, etc...  , but in Trump's new Washington the old standards just don't seem to apply.

It seems that Democrats were expected to be more ethical, more honest and more open than the new bunch!
