Asian royalty seldom marry outside their own nationalionality

You know you will often read about kings of european countries marrying their sons/daughters to nobles of other european countries so it's pretty common to read about how say the queen of england is related to say the royal family in denmark, sweden etc that type of stuff. I am sure the nobles of european countries are all somehow closely related.

Then you go to asia and you realize it isn't like this. Like the royal family in cambodia isn't really close to the thai royal family in the sense that they don't have intermarriage. Same thing with say the japanese and so on.

It's just kind of amazing that why don't royals of today marry a royal of another nationality and even better have a european and asian marriage.

Even though this discussion is regarding Royal families in other countries, lese majeste laws still apply here and to prevent any discussion of the Thai Royal family:

1) You will not express disrespect of the King of Thailand or any one member of the Thai royal family, whether living or deceased, nor to criticize the monarchy as an institution.

By law, the Thai Royal Family are above politics. Speculation, comments and discussion of either a political or personal nature are not allowed when discussing HM The King or the Royal family.

To breach these rules may result in immediate ban.

Linking to external sites which break these rules will be treated as if you yourself posted them.
