British actor John Hurt, star of 'The Elephant Man', dead at 77

LONDON (Reuters) - Veteran British actor Sir John Hurt, Oscar-nominated for his star turn in "The Elephant Man" and his supporting role in "Midnight Express", has died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, a representative said on Saturday. He was 77.

The UK-based Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has voiced concern over the death sentence for state official convicted of  serious corruption charge in Thailand although it is ready to cooperate with Thai authorities in the investigation of the Rolls Royce bribery scandal.

Air strike aimed at IS chief in the Philippines

DPM Wisanu calls on state agencies to stand down over Rolls Royce Briberies
