Twin Towns and Cities

Featured Replies

I am a proud scouser, home of The Beatles, Cilla Black, Sonia, Derek Hatton , Jimmy Tarbuck , Fred Talbot, Stan Boardman , Curtis Warren, and of Course Stevie G the god of football, of course many more great scousers around la.

Now many places are twinned with other cities around the world, so what would you twin your town or city with in a similar place in Thailand?

I think Liverpool being the cultural centre of UK would mean Bangkok or Chiang Mai, but as having the Mersey , its a bit like the Chao Phrya. So Bangkok should be twinned with Liverpool.

Stevie G is bigger than any city

Hanoi would be a better twin given the thieving taxi drivers over there.

Pattaya should really be twinned with Rhyl, lot of similarities there with  people escaping for the beach, and entertainment. Sunworld beats any of the waterparks available here.

Already twinned where l live Old & New.
