Prolific paedophile Andrew Tracey brought to justice

Featured Replies

Can't find this running elsewhere on the forum. Prolific is the right word too (amongst many others I can't use here) admitted  to 45 child rapes all over the place.

The 70-year-old was arrested in 2013 in Thailand on suspicion of abusing young boys, but he skipped bail and fled the country before he could be prosecuted.

In a case of mistaken identity, Thai police jailed another man, charity worker, Ian Tracey, for the offences and he spent 14 months in the notorious Nong Plalai in Pattaya before the error was realised and he was freed."

Will anyone be held responsible for this injustice? (rhetorical question, of course).

Poor chap, 14 months in jail just for sharing the same surname. Surely someone should be jailed for this huge mistake. Similarly, will anyone in UK be held responsible for this man being repeatedly allowed to abuse children over such a long period, with ample evidence of his crimes dating all the way back to 1992?
